Event Formats

We have a few event formats. Though for the specific event details see the event description. Our common formats include:

• Snuggle Dance Built around co-regulating movement. We facilitate structured consent and touch exercises. These nights include Micro Fusion partner dance. Then open into social dancing, cuddle space, and the fire pit.
• Snuggle Puddle Slower and lower to the ground. No dance to learn. Structured consent and touch exercises, then open time settling into sustained contact. Come if what you want is to rest in a pile of friendly people.

How an evening runs

Below is the usual shape of an event. Exact times vary, so check the specifics on the event you're booking

• Doors open Arrival and settling in. Journaling paper, tea, and quiet seating available. If childcare is provided this begins now in a separate space.
• Doors close We want to create a very intentional container where everyone has the experience to create a shared understanding of touch. We require everyone attending to be arrive before this time.
• Container setting and discussion Naming the need for touch, we then share norms and consent basics in a discussion based circle.

  We start with conversation in pairs and small groups before any touch is exchanged, so if you're anxious about coming alone, you won't be dropped straight into the deep end.

• Consent practice exercises

  After the converstaion we break into pairs or small groups and work first on verbal consent. Then we transition to exercises with touch. At dance nights this includes dance instruction. So if you're anxious about coming alone, you won't be dropped straight into the deep end.

• Open time

  After these practices of consent and trust building, we then open up the space for platonic touch and interactions. Every event has a cuddle space to lay down with friends and hold one another. An outside space is also available. Dance events include a dance space. Facilitators are present and there will be some times where everyone is invited to get up, move around, and reconnect.

• Closing (optional) Aftercare and wind-down for anyone who wants a soft landing before heading out. You can of course head out any time.

The Bliss Fungalow, Eugene 97405. It's a private home, so full arrival details are sent after you register. Please don't share the address publicly.

Childcare

Dedicated childcare is available on-site in its own separate space, separately staffed, for those who need it in order to attend. Availability varies by event, so check the ticket listing or email us.
